In der Mitte des Goethezimmer im Jocobihaus in Düsseldorf liegt eine Eieruhr. Die Uhr stammt aus der Küche meiner Mutter. Die Uhr ist mit dem Sender eines Funkmikrophons über eine Lautsprecher verbunden. Die Uhr wird auf 15 Minuten gestellt. In der linken Zimmerecke, zum Garten hin gerichtet, spreche ich 15 Minuten lang „Laudo, laudas, laudat, laudamus, laudatis, laudan”. Nach 15 Minuten wiederholt sich der Ablauf im Uhrzeigersinn, der Text wechselt zu „Was habe ich Dir gesagt” und „Ich muss ein braver Junge sein”. In der letzten Zimmerecke: Schweigen.

In the middle of the Goethezimmer in the Jocobihaus in Düsseldorf an egg timer lies on the floor. The clock belongs to my Moms kitchen. The clock is connected to the transmitter of a radio microphone via a loudspeaker. The clock is set to 15 minutes. In the left corner of the room, facing the garden, I speak "Laudo, laudas, laudat, laudamus, laudatis, laudan" for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the sequence repeats clockwise, the text changes to "What did I tell you" and "I must be a good boy". In the last corner of the room: silence.
